Interesting concept for a game. It would be cool to expand on this idea.

Great artwork too

(+1)

The vibes are immaculate. True ending is the kind of thing I LOVE seeing in games.

(+1)

i need to give it a 9 /10, it has a short but nice story, its well made for being a browser game and after all, i like the black and white theme

(+1)

Great game. I initially thought this will be a crude game inspired by flash games like 5 minutes to kill yourself or beat your boss but then I got to the last two endings and I gotta say...it was way more than what I expected! A truly unique experience.

(+1)

Incredible game! It was a unique experiencie for me. Thanks for making it!

(+1)

that was... something alright. fun though

(+1)

Made an account just to comment on how much I love this game!

How sweet!! >v< Thank you for telling me!!

(+1)

Loved it =)

(1 edit) (+1)

Pretty dang creepy but cute. I feel a mix of discomfort and sweetness after getting every end. Also the artstyle is pretty great!

(+1)

Thank you! Creepy but Cute sounds perfect for this game UvU

(+1)

This was a lot sweeter than I thought it was going to be. Great work! The art style is unbelievably gorgeous and it was a super fun premise.

Thank you!! I'm a sucker for Good Endings, so I just had to give this game a sweeter ending as True End >v< (Tho that's not difficult compared to all the other Dead Ends haha)

(+2)

so we have two lesbian robots

works for me

Замечательная игра

(+1)

very good for a free game

This was a pretty cool! The art is unique and looks appealing and while a simple concept, is still pretty fun. It's really cool to see something like this made in such a short amount of time, even if it's in RPGMaker.

It'd be cool to see more games with this kinda style. Hand-drawn art and RPGMaker is an awesome combo. Good job!

I'm glad that you think so :3 I'm super happy that you liked the art and the concept!! I also love it when RPG Maker games have this hand-drawn feel to it ^^

I don't want to be rude, and this is a good game stylistically and is very well written. However, spiritually it was one of the worse experiences in media I've seen recently. The entire game is about killing an innocent person in a multitude of ways, done by a malicious and malignant main character with no regards for other peoples' feelings or inner worlds. The [SPOILER] ending reveal feels almost tacked on, designed to excuse the actions of the main character through her victim just saying "whether you abuse me or are nice to me I'm still happy" and downplaying the horrible decisions you as a game designer made the player undertake.

It is a beautiful game with a great artstyle, the writing is on point, you physically feel repulsed by the actions Ellen performs in no small part because of your outstanding work.

Developer, if you're reading this, would really just like to ask you, what personal experiences influenced your decision to make this game? This is not a rhetorical question, this game was an experience and I will be thankful for any additional context.

(+4)

At first thanks for your review^^ I'm glad that there were at least some parts of the game you enjoyed!

(Spoilers up ahead)

Tbh I wouldn't say that Olivia's completely innocent since she did play into Ellen's murderous tendencies. She's def still a victim though, even if she herself doesn't see it that way.

Moreover, Ellen isn't supposed to be a likeable protag. I wrote the dead ends as brutally as I could so that you as a player would feel bad for Olivia.

As for the ending feeling tacked on... I had a deadline for this game, so the overall ending is rushed. But one of the things I wanted to convey was Ellen's guilt after realizing that there's more to Olivia than a "prop" in a timeloop. (as a contrast to her brutal ways)

Also, I kinda had the idea for this game ever since high school, I suppose? Though one of the inspirations were the "Whack your Boss"-games.

The timeloop-plot was added, because I recently started my first job when I made that game. So I put some of my frustrations in the game haha

I hope my answer gave you a better insight into why I designed the game this way^^

(+2)

Thank you very much for your insight, it was indeed helpful! All in all, your game gave me a lot to think about, which is the best I can wish for in art. Wish you the very best on the success of this game and your future endeavours!

(+1)

Omigosh this is so cute? How did you accomplish the hand drawn feel for the backgrounds?

(+1)

By drawing them by hand? x'D

Jk, I think you mean the sketchy look right? I used a pen in Medibang Paint Pro called "Rough Brush". It adds this sketchy looking flair to all my drawings, so I really like using it :3

And thank youu <33

(+1)

i played this game a lot and its sooo fun, i did feel kinda bad for her tho :')

(+1)

Cool game

(+4)

SPOILERS!!!

You know, at first I was going "just kiss already!" as a joke... but bro... I don't think it's a joke anymore...!!!

(+1)

It really isn't a joke anymore 😳 x'D

(+1)

Oh my gosh that ending was so unexpected!

(+1)

i liked this a lot! a short and powerful experience. thank you for making it~~

(+1)

I enjoyed this game, the twist at the end was also quite interesting! Lovely artstyle too, I just found some objects didn't look interactable although they were, but that didn't really take away any of the game's charm. :)

Oh we killing her all 6 ways! LOL
(1 edit) (+2)

(+1)

Nice story!

(+1)

THIS WAS SO MUCH MORE FUN THAN I EXPECTED

That's so sweet, thanks!! I'm super happy u had fun playing this!! :3c

(+1)

A fun, albeit disturbing, little game. The ending was really crazy, but the art and, specially the music, were great.

Now, is the music available somewhere?

Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it :D
Here are links to the music:

THAT WAS SOOO GOOD, one thing though is that the ending was a little random but still amazing love your work. :)

(+1)

"Whack your boss" anime version tho

(+1)

Good Job!

(+1)

Love it but damn Ellen's a monster.

Amazing design, astonishing atmosphere and incredible music.

One point of criticism is that the game doesn't explain greatly how Ellen's insanity got to the point of committing murderer, id expect a person's state of mind to go defensive after having seen a death instead of offensive, just as soldiers will come back from war with a post trauma syndrome that will make them act extremely defensively even when there is no danger.

Absolutely astonishing keep it on.

Hahaha thank you!! And yeah, she is.

Well, tbh I think Ellen didn't feel as disturbed by Olivia's first death because she didn't really see her as an equal... To her, Olivia was more of a prop at that time since she never really acted any differently (And Ellen did think that it was a time loop lol)

so Ellen thought of Olivia like of NPC?:>

Yess :o

yeah, truee. the ending shocked me so much, but was so interesting, im obsessed.

I'm glad u found my game interesting haha^^ Thank you :>

(+1)

:OOO

(+2)

:333

(+2)

:>>>

(+1)

Loved the atmosphere. The art is too cute for the tone of the story, but that makes it more "disturbing" in a way (or at least that's how I see it haha.)
Good job! 10/10 character designs btw

Thank you!! I love games that look cute-sy at first but have a darker story... So I made this game hahaha

I'm glad u like the chara designs tho :3

(+1)

really i love it,is so funny

(+2)

The art is so cute! Really cool game! This may have inspired me to work on my art some more! :D

(+1)

後半も無事終えたよ~!Thank you so much!
